PASTURE RAISED MEAT CHICKENS
Available May-October
Our Freedom Ranger chickens are raised in mobile chicken coops on pasture and live outside their entire lives. Their mobile coops are rotated daily to ensure fresh, clean grass is always available to them. They are free to forage on grass and bugs along with supplemental feed. Meat birds are available for on farm pick-up only and must be sold whole. No cuts available. Pick up days are set in the beginning of the season. Please contact us for availability. 2022 Price: $5/lb plus $5 per bird. Prices are subject to change year to year.
PASTURE RAISED HOGS
Available Year Round. Half or Whole Only.
Our Berkshire pigs are raised outdoors on pasture. They are free fed and able to root in the soil and wallow in the mud as much as they'd like. Currently, hogs are only available by half or whole orders. Please contact us for availability. 2022 Price: $5/lb hanging weight. Prices are subject to change year to year.

Pasture Raised Beef
While the infrastructure isn't quite there yet for our future cows, beef is definitely on the menu for the years ahead. Plans are being made, so stay tuned. Providing people with quality, pasture raised meat is important to us, so plans are in the works for beef cows.

DOG TRAINING
Basic Obedience, Behavior Issues, and New Dog/Puppy Training and Lifestyle Planning for the Greater Cincinnati and SE Indiana Areas
BASIC OBEDIENCE
It couldn't be called the Good Shepherd Farm without a good shepherd right? While Rio is no longer with us, he certainly was a well-mannered boy that walked well off leash and had a good recall, respectfully distanced himself while humans ate meals and knew the basics like sit and stay. You and your dog can also be taught these basics.
In-home sessions are $85 for a 60-90 minute, first intro session. Follow up sessions are 45-60 minutes and are $75 for each follow up. A discounted, 3 session package following the same time constraints as listed above is $225. Basic behaviors can be chosen by the owner from a pre-approved list including but not limited to: sit, stay, down, meal distancing, recall, and on and off leash walks.
BEHAVIORAL ISSUES
Does your dog have a bad habit? Are they a counter surfer, picky eater, or leash puller? We can help. Dogs create habits that humans sometimes disapprove of but both human and dog can be taught how to fix these! We are currently not accepting any aggressive behavior as something we are willing to help with but will in the future.

NEW PUP LIFESTYLE PLANNING
Did you recently get a new puppy or adopt a new dog and you're not sure how to navigate your new life with your new pup? We can help. Sometimes figuring out what is best for your dog's mental and physical health can be difficult. Humans need to find the same mental and physical balance with a new pup as well! This package includes not only basic obedience for your new dog or puppy but also gives you a lifestyle plan of what your dog will need from you to be happy and healthy based on breed histories and basic individual needs. This can include but not limited to walk/exercise necessities, training and mental stimulation, and play time suggestions.
In home sessions are $90 for a 60-90 minute first intro session. Follow up sessions are 45-60 minutes and are $85 for each follow up. A discounted, 3 session package following the same time constraints as listed above is $250.

Pumpkins, flannels and friends! Come join us in October 2024 for a Saturday and Sunday Fall Festival! There will be a pumpkin patch, porch sitting and a farmers market on site highlighting local farms! Stay tuned! Dates TBD.
